Faith Network for Manchester
We are one of the newer networks in the Community Network system and have been meeting for about a year. Our aims are to bring together people of different faith groups across the city to speak to issues of regeneration, to act as a means of communication between faith groups and be a resource to address issues of common concern, and of course to participate in the Community Network and LSP structure.
In the past year we have held two conference meetings. The first was a general conference on how faith groups participate in the regeneration of our communities; the second dealt with the more specific issue of refugees and asylum seekers and how faith communities may assist and advocate for them.
We are always looking for new members to participate in this group and broaden its scope. If you would like more information please contact Robina Shah via e-mail at robina@fn4m.org or phone at 0161 959 5562 (ask for Warren Elf).
